  • The :bind([T], variable) is bound as SQL_NUMERIC instead of text
in the SQLBindParameter which causes an "[IBM][CLI Driver]
CLI0112E Error in assignment. SQLSTATE=22005" error message.

WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using DB2 adapter

Problem Description:
The DB2 adapter's bind command does not work correctly for text
data.

Platforms Affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • The DB2 adapter properly binds text fields when using the
adapter's "bind" command.  Before this fix, the text-based bind
command, ":bind[TEXT]", would bind data as numeric versus text.

8.1.0.6, 8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5
