Error description

  • A previous patch to the product code has caused the loss of
output XML data, even though it has been correctly read from
the input XML, as verified by Data Audit logging.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using Xerces parser
and having choice groups in type trees

Problem Description:
Missing data on XML output.

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Length of required choice groups was in correct. . This error
would cause missing elements on output. Corrected code to
account for trailing element tag when calculating length.

Delivered in:
8.1.0.6, 8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5
