  • Pack for HIPAA 4.3.2 Compliance Check map fails to generate a
999 acknowledgment when the Repetition Separator in the HIPAA
data is defined as the asterisk ( * ) character.

Problem summary

Websphere Transformation Extendee pack for HIPAA 4.3.2.

Problem Description:
Repetition Separator with a value of "*" does not produce 999.

Platforms affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • Compliance summary process uses "*" as delimiter for many of
their groups - the extra value of the "*" within the ISA_Detail
group caused the data to not be validated correctly.  This has
been fixed in the compliance_check map
