Error description

  • A default XML Parser trace file (wtxParserLog_log.xml) is
created when validating XML input using a Native XML Schema as
the map input card and running the map using WTX API with the
map trace turned off.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender SDK customers calling maps
that use native xml schema support

Problem Description:
If a map is invoked using WTX API, the function that sets
default trace values, does not check is the global trace flag
turned off resulting with the default trace being always
enabled. Xds4c module creates the default trace
wtxParserLog_log.xml which can affect performances.

Problem conclusion

  • Modified code to correctly set the tracing flags.
