  • Client observes the following errors in the audit log and
database trace file when running stored procedure with DB2 on
z/OS using ODBC adapter:

DB GET failed: error -1009, Failed to execute the SQL statement

Problem summary

users using ODBC to call a stored procedure.

Problem Description:
The DB2 API function SQPProcedureColumns does not return
parameters in the same order as on any other platform.

Platforms Affected:
OS_Batch(32 BITS)

Problem conclusion

  • Code added to sort parameters in parameter order.
