PM16721: THE TYPE TREE 'SPECIAL VALUE FOR NONE' PARAMETER DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY

Error description

  • If the "special value for NONE' parameter is set for a value of
    <null>, and the input data contains <null> as values, the map is
    not outputting NONE (no data).

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
    WebSphere Transformation Extender customers who use a "special
    value for NONE" that would be an acceptable value for the type.
    
    Problem Description:
    XML output not as expected when specified a NONE

Problem conclusion

  • We weren't recognizing the data as a NONE instance.  I changed
    the validation code so we would.
