Core Engine BuildEmptySyntax() function with a segmentation
fault.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender users who have defined types
with literal empty syntax, but no literal defined.

Problem Description:

WTX 8.2.0.4 crashes with a segmentation fault when running a map
in BuildEmptySyntax function

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Map Compiler was generating excerpted types with inconsistent
values, causing a memory error. Users need to recompile their
maps.
