Error description

  • When using a native XML Schema as the card of a map, the output
validation message of the map trace reports a failure in the
input when an output element is being used in the Data Audit
    Setting.

When the Data Audit Setting is set to Track Error on all Data
Audit Settings, the following is seen in the map trace file:

    (Level 0: Offset 0, len 0, comp 1 of 0, #1, DI 00000001:)
    External Parser returned Error:
TYPE X'0001' (Error (-14), "XMLParser: Input card has a Invalid
    type as root"
Unable to create xml object model. Make sure the selected root
    are either a DOC/ELEMENT/GLOBAL).

End of Validation messages for OUTPUT CARD 1.

Note that the message refers to Input Card. If the Data Audit
Setting is left blank, then the map completes successfully.
