Error description
The IBM WebSphere TX Oracle database adapter will not get or put correctly when used with a Custom Type that is created by another user and referenced by a public synonym. Error returned by OCIDescribeAny, errcode=4043 ORA-04043: object XXXXXXXXXXXX does not exist The exact same query would however works from other database client programs such as SQL*Plus.

Problem summary
Users Affected: WebSphere Transformation Extender customers that define custom Abstract Data Types (ADTs) in a schema that differs from the user who is executing the SQL operation. Problem Description: When a SQL select or update operation references a fully qualified custom type that is preceded by another user's schema, the SQL operation fails to execute. Platforms Affected: All
Problem conclusion
Select and update operations can now be performed on Oracle ADTs that are defined in another user schema. Before this fix, the ADT could not be described unless it was defined in the same schema as the logged in user. Delivered in: 8.3.0.6, 8.4.0.5, 8.4.1.2
