WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0.0.2 Interim Fix 001 contains updates for the following:
- Comparing and merging
- Installing
Note: WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus have enabled a new business object runtime framework as a Technology Preview in the 7.0.0.1 Fix Pack.
The business object runtime framework provided in all the previous Version 6.x releases continues to be the default in Version 7.0 and remains the business object runtime framework for production use. After applying the 7.0.0.1 and 7.0.0.2 Fix Pack, the new business object runtime framework for Version 7.0 is also available.
While available to all users of 7.0.0.1 and 7.0.0.2, current usage of the Version 7.0 business object runtime framework is designed for and should only be used by early adopters and for development usage only.
IBM provides the Version 7.0 business object runtime framework technology preview "as is" and does not include IBM support as specified in the Version 7.0 WPS/WESB license agreement under the terms for Technology Preview Code.

Prerequisites
Prior to applying this Interim Fix, if the Interim Fix will be installed directly from the IBM update server, then you must have WebSphere Integration Developer 7.0 or higher installed. If the Interim Fix will be installed locally, then you must have WebSphere Integration Develop V7.0.0.2 Fix Pack installed. Also, ensure that you have the latest version of the IBM Installation Manager.
Installation Instructions
It is recommended that you install the Interim Fix directly from the IBM update server; however, it is also available for download. You might want to download and install the Interim Fix in the following situations:
- You have a slow or unstable Internet connection and want to use a download manager that can resume the download.
- You have difficulty accessing the live IBM update servers from behind a firewall.
- You prefer to download the Interim Fix and install it later.
If you choose to download the fix, then perform the following steps:
- Download Interim Fix 001 (wid7002_interim_fix001.zip).
- Extract the Interim Fix to a temporary directory, such as C:\temp\.
- For installation instructions, navigate to C:\temp\ and open local_installation.html or click on the link below.
