  • Application time-out occuring for JAX-RS when we have both
    features <feature>osgi.jpa-1.0</feature> and
    <feature>jpa-2.0</feature> enabled

    JAX-RS application.

    at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read1
    at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read
    

Problem conclusion

  • An infinite loop could potentially occur when starting a
    JAX-RS application leading to a timeout. This has been
    corrected.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
