Error description

  • In WebSphere the Call-ID includes an IP address as part of the
    unique identifier.

Currently SIP container puts the local address in the Call-ID
just like the RFC suggests. Customer dies not want to have
the internal IP address in the Call-ID of the SIP messages.
WebSphere Application Server needs to have a way to create the
call-id in an alternative manner, so that it
would no longer put the IP addresses when creating a
    Call-ID.

Problem conclusion

  • This fix provides a custom property to create the call-id in an
alternative manner, so that it would no longer show the
IP addresses when creating a Call-ID.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
CEA 1.0.0.13. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
