* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When getApplicationSessionByKey is      *
*                      used with a false flag a new            *
*                      SipApplicationSession is created        *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

The SIP container is always creating a new
SipApplicationSession when using getApplicationSessionByKey
even if the SipApplicationSession does not exist and the
create flag is set to false

Problem conclusion

  • The SIP container creates new SipApplicationSession when
calling to getApplicationSessionByKey only if the create flag
is set to true.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in the
Feature Pack for Communications Enabled Applications (CEA) 1.0
