  • Using the FLWOR expression to select comment() nodes is not
returning anything in stax.* flavour.

XQuery test cases: schemaas-4. The expression
"comment()" selects all the comment nodes, but got empty
sequence back.

The existing implementation didn't set Lexicalhandler that
handles comment nodes on the XMLReader for StAX.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is to set a Lexicalhandler on the XMLReader via set
"http://xml.org/sax/properties/lexical-handle" property.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 1.0.0.5. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
