Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The On Demand Configuration tree * * incorrectly reports server status. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The ODC tree reports servers that are started, as stopped, resulting in them being unavailable to the ODR for routing.
Problem conclusion
Validation logic will be added to ODC which will confirm the state of servers prior to marking them as up or down. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.0.2.31 and 6.1.0.19.
