  • The environment variable MQSI_SMF_FLNM has been set to -1 but
the statistic SMF records are still showing the first 32
characters
and not the last 32 characters.

All users of WebSphere Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus on
z/OS using accounting statistics SMF records.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
APAR PM58287 created a new environment variable MQSI_SMF_FLNM
which allows an offset for the node name in a SMF record. It did
not allow a value of -1 to be set which means the last 32
characters of the node name are stored in the SMF record.

Problem conclusion


    

  • The product now allows a value of -1 for environment variable
MQSI_SMF_FLNM.
