APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Each time an execution group with a Java debug port defined is
    started, a new dbg* file is written to the tmp directory.
    

Local fix

  • These files are not needed and can be deleted from the tmp
    directory.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    Each time an execution group with a Java debug port defined is
    started, a new dbg* file is written to the /tmp directory. These
    files serve no purpose and are not required.
    

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere Message Broker has been modified so that it no
    longer creates /tmp/dbg* files.
