    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When a user attempted to transfer a Generation Data Group (GDG)
dataset which did not exist, the transfer completed returning a
"Successful, with no files transferred" message. As the GDG
dataset does not exist, the transfer was expected to fail with a
    failure return message.

Problem conclusion

  • The WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition product, and the MQ MQ
Managed File Transfer component, have been modified so that when
a Generation Data Group (GDG) dataset which does not exist is
attempted to be transferred, the transfer request now fails with
    the following return message:

"Failed - BFGIO0001E: File "//<GDG_Member>" does not exist."
