PROBLEM SUMMARY:
The jvmMaxHeapSize value is restricted to a maximum of
8589934592 (8 GB).
Trying to set the value above 8GB will result in the following
BIP messages being issued: BIP2087, BIP4041 and BIP2211.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • WebSphere Message Broker has been updated to remove the
restriction of a maximum value of 8589934592 (8 GB) for the
jvmMaxHeapSize.

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:

V6.1 - Maintenance Level 6.1.0.10

V7.0 - Maintenance Level 7.0.0.4
