  • Whenever the CCSID is set to a value of 5348 and message is
received XMS throws System.NotSupportedException: No data is
available for encoding 5348.

Western European users using the Euro Keyboard with the CCSID
5348 might hit System.NotSupportedException: No data is
available for encoding 5348.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Whenever the CCSID is set to a value of 5348 and message is
received XMS throws System.NotSupportedException: No data is
available for encoding 5348.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • With the fix now we convert the CCSID 5348 to exact code
understandable by the Microsoft .Net framework. There is no
change in the external behavior.
