    been stopped because the listener port may not have been
    released.

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of WebSphere Message Broker using starting and
    stopping the HTTP listener
    
    Platforms Affected:
    All Platforms

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    No retry enabled when the listener is started, so a transient
    failure because of a temporary problem results in a general
    failure.
    

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere Message Broker has been modified such that a retry of
    the listener start over a period of up to 100 seconds has been
    added.

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
    
    V6.0 - Maintenance Level 6.0.0.11
    
    V6.1 - Maintenance Level 6.1.0.8
