IZ35332: MQADMIN FORMAT FIELD REMOVED WHEN USING THE PCF PARSER IN V6006

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The MQMD.Format field is not being populated at FixPack 08 like
  it was at FP02. The functionality of the PCF Parser was
  enhanced by APAR IC53484 in FP06 and resulted in this change.
  With the new parser if we set the format in the old fashion
  using
  the ESQL ex. set outputroot.mqmd.format = 'MQADMIN' the format
  field is detached by the parser.

  With the new pcf parser functionality and using the old type
  pcf message we do not get the expected:
  (0x03000000):Format  = 'MQADMIN ' set.
  Hence, the pcf commands are not processed.
  

Problem conclusion

• WebSphere Message Broker has been modified such that we do not
  detach the MQMD.Format field even if we have the MQADMIN parser
  loaded which makes it compatible with the old behaviour.
