Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of Websphere Message Broker * * with HttpRequest Node. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The error reported is BIP3150 failing * * with EINTR 'Interrupted system call' * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere Message Broker's HttpRequest Node performs a select() operation to select the socket file descriptor to write on. On linux systems, when a large number of select() calls is made, one could fail with EINTR and result in the HttpRequest Node call failing.

WebSphere Message Broker has been modified so that it retries the select() call when there is an EINTR error.
