  *                      attribute all subsequent valid XML      *
  *                      documents will be rejected with a       *
  *                      BIP5004E exception.                     *

  There is a defect in the XML4C parser used by the broker to
  parse XML documents. This defect means that if an invalid XML
  document is parsed which has an invalid character in one if
  its attributes (such as an amphersand, &) then all subsequent
  valid XML documents will be rejected with BIP5004E exceptions
  (Attribute 'X' is already used in element 'Y').
  

Problem conclusion

• The XML4C parser has been upgraded to version 5.6.3 which
  contains the fix for this defect.
