  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A call to a Sybase ASE stored           *
  *                      procedure from within a message flow    *
  *                      fails with message BIP2921E: The        *
  *                      procedure 'insert1' with  'insert2'     *
  *                      parameters could not be matched with    *
  *                      a corresponding Database stored         *
  *                      procedure.                              *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  If a call is made to a Sybase ASE stored procedure from within
  a message flow, and that stored procedure contains the word
  "AS" embedded in a comment line or in a comment block, the
  call fails with message BIP2921E. The Sybase ASE ODBC driver
  informs the application (i.e. the Execution Group) that all
  the parameters are 'IN' parameters even when some have been
  defined as 'OUT' or 'INOUT', and therefore the Execution Group
  fails to match the stored procedure definition with the ESQL
  definition of the procedure.
  

Problem conclusion

• This has been resolved with a fix to the DataDirect Sybase ASE
  ODBC v5.0 driver.
