PROBLEM SUMMARY:
The thread processing the SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.STREAM queue calls
function faiGetNext in order to OPEN the queue and then to get
internal messages from it. However, if the queue manager is
terminating then a reason code of MQRC_CONNECTION_QUIESCING
(2202) may be returned internally. This condition is not handled
and an FDC record is written. Similarly another thread,
processing the SYSTEM.BROKER.INTER.BROKER.COMMUNICATIONS
queue, calls fmiGetNext in order the OPEN and GET from the
queue, and again the condition above is not handled, resulting
in an FFST.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Internal MQ functions faiGetNext and fmiGetNext will now
handle the reason code MQRC_CONNECTION_QUIESCING in the same way
as MQRC_Q_MGR_QUIESCING and MQRC_Q_MGR_STOPPING, so that no
FDC is produced.
