Error description

  • The following FDC from the same process is generated every
    second:

    This behaviour is unexpected. When the error log daemon is
    unable to process an error message request because of too many
    requests, then it should only generate the FDC every 60 seconds,
    not every second.

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    Users using WebSphere MQ 7.1 or 7.5 with large number of
    client connections
    
    Platforms affected:
    All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    This problem occurred because of a timing window between
    checking for the last FDC generated and generating the FDC.
    

Problem conclusion

  • MQ error logging code has been modified to fix problem.
