APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A cluster sender channel (CLUSSDR) is not started automatically
    using the trigger mechanism when an expiration report message is
    put to the cluster transmission queue
    (SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE)
    .
    It is also incorrect that the report message is put inside a
    unit of work as explained in the WebSphere MQ InfoCenter.

Problem summary

    Users requesting expiration reports to be sent to a clustered
    reply queue.
    
    Platforms affected:
    All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    When the report message was put the cluster channel was not
    started.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Ensure the cluster channel is started when required.
