Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Applications which register callback functions to asynchronously
consume messages from a temporary dynamic queue can be affected
    by this error.

    Platforms affected:
All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Where a registered application callback is in the process of
receiving a message at the time a temporary dynamic queue is
deleted, a timing window exists which can lead to the
application not being informed that the queue has been deleted,
and the generation of the two FDCs detailed.

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere MQ has been modified to correctly detach the
application from the queue which is being deleted, and deliver
an event to notify of the queue deletion.
