Error description

  • Trace-route reply messages received by WebSphere MQ monitoring
    applications can have an incorrect length. This might cause an
    addressing fault in any trace-route monitoring application.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    rriPutTraceRouteReply is using the wrong message length (the
    size of the buffer, which has been rounded up to the nearest
    page boundary) for the calculation of the move.
    

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere MQ has been changed to correctly calculate the length
    of trace-route reply messages.
