APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • An attempt to open a queue with the WebSphere MQ Classes for
Java V7 Client fails with 2035 - MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED. The same
application and settings were able to connect successfully using
the WMQ V6 client.

USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users of the WebSphere MQ Classes for Java V7
who are passing a blank userid with a connection.

Platforms affected:
All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows) +Java

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
When a blank userid was set on a connection, the userid passed
to the queue manager was being overridden with the userid of the
JVM.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The userid is now only overridden with the userid of the JVM if
the property com.ibm.mq.forceUserID is set to true -
otherwise the userid is set to one specified on the connection,
or the default value of a blank string.
