Error description

  • When an XMS .NET application, running in unmanaged mode, used
    the MQCHLLIB environment
variable to specify a CCDT then application instances did not
    rebalance correctly across a
    uniform cluster.

Local fix

  • Use the CCDTURL environment variable to specify the CCDT
    location.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
An XMS .NET application, running in unmanaged mode, used the
    MQCHLLIB environment
variable to specify a CCDT and connect to a queue manager
    running in a uniform cluster.
However, a defect in the client code caused the XMS session to
    be created without the
flags that are needed to rebalance application instances across
    the uniform cluster.

Problem conclusion

  • The defect has been fixed so that XMS application instances are
    balanced correctly
    across the cluster.
