Error description

  • The IBM MQ v9.1 for Linux (x86-64) installation bundles the
following three third party software packages:

 Eclipse Jetty
 CometD
 SLF4J (Simple Logging Facade for Java)

A new version of SLF4J and Jetty bundled with IBM MQ v9.1 is
available, and needs to be updated.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The version of SLF4J (Simple Logging Facade for Java) and Jetty
shipped within IBM MQ v9.1.0.9 was:


  Jetty   : 9.3.43.v20210629
  SLF4J   : 1.7.31

Updated versions of SLF4J and Jetty have been released, and IBM
MQ v9.1 should be updated with the new versions.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • SLF4J and Jetty have been updated.

The versions of the three third party bundles following the code
change associated with this APAR are :

  JETTY   : 9.4.44.v20210927
  COMETD  : 3.1.14
  SLF4J   : 1.7.32
