  • This APAR covers multiple enhancements to the runmqras utility,
used to collect diagnostic data to supply to IBM support.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Additional functionality was required by IBM support in the
runmqras utility.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">1. Added
'dspmqtrn' output to Windows and Unix hosts.</span>
<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">2. If a qmgr
specified for the -qmlist does not exist, runmqras will now
terminate with an error message.</span>
<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">3. The
previously optional '-section defs' output is now always
provided.</span>
<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">4. Added
/var/log/message capture for Unix hosts.</span>
5. Added <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">"df
-i" and "df -i <qm data directory>" </span>output for Unix
hosts.
6. Added "wmic" output for the Windows host.
