APAR status

Error description

  • The IBM MQ v9.1 for Linux (x86-64) installation bundles the
following three third party software packages which are used by
the IBM MQ Bridge for Salesforce and Blockchain:

  Eclipse Jetty
  CometD
  SLF4J (Simple Logging Facade for Java)

The version of Eclipse Jetty bundled with IBM MQ v9.1
are not at the latest version, and needs to be updated.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The versions of Jetty, CometD and SLF4J (Simple Logging Facade
for Java) shipped within IBM MQ v9.1.0.7 were:

  JETTY   : 9.3.28.v20191105
  COMETD  : 3.1.14
  SLF4J   : 1.7.30

A new versions of Jetty has been released, and IBM MQ v9.1
should be updated with the new version.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Jetty has been updated to the version:

  JETTY   : 9.3.29.v20201019
