APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• MQCONN fails with MQRC 2035 (MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED) when the
  queue manager's CONNAUTH attribute is configured to an
  empty value(' ').
  

Local fix

• Set the queue manager's CONNAUTH attribute to a non empty
  value and refresh the security with type CONNAUTH.
  For Example:
  ALTER QMGR CONNAUTH(SYSTEM.DEFAULT.AUTHINFO.IDPWOS)
  REFRESH SECURITY TYPE(CONNAUTH)
  

Problem summary

• The user context (real/effective) is not respected in case of
  an empty value for the CONNAUTH attribute.
  This results in the seen error since the wrong user context is
  used for certain configurations and bindings on MQCONN.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product has been changed to set the proper user context
  in case the CONNAUTH attribute is configured with an empty
  value (' ').
