Error description

  • The "setdrlink -r replicationIP" command does not verify if the
replicationIP is assigned to a valid local interface that can be
used as an alternative DR interface. The command completes
successfully even if an invalid replicationIP is specified..

However, when running the crtdrprimary, it would fail with the
    following error:

    mqa(mqcli)# setdrlink -r replicationIP
    The setdrlink command succeeded.

    mqa(mqcli)# crtdrprimary -m HAQM3 -r HAQM3-sync -i
    remote_replicationIP -p 9016 -f 172.20.202.16
AMQ3940E: The specified network interface does not exist ().
