  • An error which triggered a failure data capture (FDC) record in
xcsInitialise caused the process to loop repeatedly
generating FDC records into FFST files.

USERS AFFECTED:
This problem affects users of MQ V9.1.


Platforms affected:

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A process external to MQ corrupted shared resources which a
queue manager
was using.  The queue manager invoked  its error handling
routines in order to
write an FDC record, but the a defect in the error handling code
caused the  process
to loop and repeatedly write FDC records.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The defect has been fixed so that the error handling logic no
longer loops.
