IT29183: Configuring floating IP address in RDQM environment may fail with AMQ3817E and AMQ3873E

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Assigning a floating IP address to an replicated data queue
  manager (RDQM) using the following command may fail with the
  following errors:
  
  # rdqmint -m <QMerName> -a -f <Floating.IP> -l <InterfaceName>
  
  AMQ3817E: Replicated data subsystem call '/usr/sbin/crm -c
  rdqm.#####.<QMgrName> configure delete <QMgrName>_with_rdqmx'
  failed with return code '1'.
  ERROR: object <QMgrName>_with_rdqmx does not exist
  AMQ3873E: Failed to add floating IP address '<Floating.IP>' to
  queue manager '<QMgrName>'.
  

Local fix

• Run the rdqmint command again

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  This problem occurred because of a programming error when
  managing RDQM resources if the queue manager was stopped, and
  this caused failure in adding floating IP.
  

Problem conclusion

• The RDQM configuration logic has been modified to resolve the
  programming error.
