APAR status

Error description

  • The command "setmqaut -u SID" doesn't remove the authorities
successfully as it should.

The following output is seen:
  The setmqaut command completed successfully.

But the command makes no change to the authority records.

USERS AFFECTED:
Users who want to use the setmqaut command with the -u switch to
specify the Windows SID instead of the username or groupname.

For example, you have deleted the user or group from the system,
and need to remove the authority records for that user or group
afterwards.

Windows

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Inside the OAM an incorrect check was being made, which ignored
any request to change an authority record using a SID as the
key.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The MQ code inside the OAM has been corrected so this invalid
check no longer occurs.
