Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
M	Q Appliance users configuring a DR partner for a
    high-availability (HA) queue manager pair.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When configuring a DR partner for an existing HA pair, the
configuration commands did not correctly check the availability
of the port which would be used to handle DR work on the HA
secondary. If the port was not available, the configuration
would be unsuccessful, but this was not reported to the user.
Additionally, this failed configuration attempt did not resolve
    itself automatically.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ Appliance DR configuration utilities have been updated to
ensure the availability of the DR on both HA partners before
    proceeding with the configuration.
