Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All XMS.NET applications using bindings file created using
Initial context to connect to IBM MQ Queue manager and setting
    Reconnection timeout property

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
If bindings file is used along with XMS .NET applications and
reconnection timeout is set while creating Initial
context,XMS.NET applications fail to honor the reconnection
    timeout property.

Problem conclusion

  • Reconnection timeout property set while creating Initial context
should be considered by XMS .NET applications in Managed
mode.Reconnect timeout property which is set while creating
Initial Context applies only to Managed mode.

For Unmanaged mode mqclient.ini file has to be
used.MQReconnectTimeout property has to be set in mqclient.ini.
