APAR status

Error description

  • The SIGSEGV is reported in a FDC with probe XC130004.
    
    The stack in the FDC contains the following (2 examples), or
    similar:

    zfuLdapGetUserDn

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    Users of any queue manager where an AUTHINFO object has been
    configured to contact LDAP repositories for authentication
    and/or authorization checks.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The LDAP client code was using a null pointer during referral
    chasing, if connectivity to the LDAP servers was lost.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The LDAP client code has been corrected so it will not use a
    null pointer during referral chasing, if connectivity to the
    LDAP servers is lost.
