Error description

  • When executing the MQ provided amqp.sh script to start the AMQP
    service on Solaris the following AMQ6175 message is recorded in
    error logs
    
    11/08/16 10:13:11 - Process(25087.1) User(mqm) Program(java)
                        Host(hostname) Installation(Installation1)
                        VRMF(8.0.0.4) QMgr(test1)
    
    AMQ6175: The system could not dynamically load the shared
    library '/opt/mqm/lib64/amqzfud'. The system returned error
    message 'ld.so.1:  java:
    fatal: relocation error: file /opt/mqm/lib64/amqzfud: symbol
    CSCtrl:   referenced    symbol not found'.
    
    EXPLANATION:
    
    This message applies to UNIX systems. The shared library
    '/opt/mqm/lib64/amqzfud' failed to load correctly due to a
    problem with the library.
    
    ACTION:
    Check the file access permissions and that the file has not
    been  corrupted.
    
    
    
    The AMQP service starts despite the presence of this message.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    An error during the MQ build process meant that there was a
    packaging error in the AMQP listener which prevented it from
    loading the amqzfud library correctly. This failure to load the
    library the generated AMQ6175 error log message.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The packaging error in the AMQP listener has been resolved.
