Error description

  • The memory leak is seen only when queue manager groups in the
Client Channel Definition Table (CCDT) file are used in a .NET
application. The leak is not seen when
the connection is established to a single queue manager using
a CCDT. The leak is majorly seen in MQChannelEntry and
    MQChannelDefinition.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users who have defined queue manager groups
in a CCDT file, and are using the CCDT file with a .NET
    application in managed mode

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The MQ .NET code allocated a data structure for all the channels
in the group for every connection, however an omission in the
disconnection logic failed to clean up these structures.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ .NET code has been modified to clear up the data
structures for the CCDT entries on disconnection.
