    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The problem occurred because of incorrect handling of an error
    condition when reading data from queue file.
    
    The object being marked as damaged should not terminate the
    queue manager,
    the queue manager should keep running after generating a FDC.
    

Problem conclusion

  • MQ code has been modified to prevent the queue manager shutting
    down due to a damaged object.
    
    The queue manager will continue running, however the damaged
    object will be reported via log messages and Failure Data
    Capture (FDC) records. This damaged object condition should be
    investigated and addressed to restore service to this object.
