APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In MQ appliance, 'no user <username>' command is not
    working from command line (cli).
    
    mqa(config)# no user test01
    Unknown command or macro (no user test01)
    

Local fix

  • Appliance users can be deleted from the WebUI, select the user
    account from the users listed in:
    Manage Appliance ->  User access -> User Account
    and click on the delete icon.

    USERS AFFECTED:
    IBM MQ Appliance administrators that manage appliance users
    using command line.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    An omission meant that that "no user" command was not included
    in the configuration list of valid MQ Appliance CLI commands.
    This meant that an error was returned when the command was run.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ Appliance internal configuration has been corrected to
    include the "no user" command in the list of valid commands.
