with probe id XC514090 from

USERS AFFECTED:
Users using WMQ 7.5 onwards with a publish/subscribe
configuration where subscriptions are added/removed dynamically.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A logic error introduced a code path whereby an internal lock
could fail to be released while deregistering a subscriber or
removing a topic, which resulted in  the xecL_W_LONG_LOCK_WAIT
condition being reported.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The publish-subscibe logic has been updated to release the lock
correctly.
