Error description

• After migrating WebSphere Application Server from V7 to V8.5.5,
  a JMS message with a JMSMessageID set to serialized the
  deserialized message has a JMSMessageID set to null vs
  the original message as seen in example below.

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  This issue affects users of WebSphere Classes for JMS versions
  7.1, 7.5 and 8 who serialise and deserialise JMS messages.
  
  
  Platforms affected:

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When a JMS message which had been serialised was deserialised,
  the resulting message did not contain all of the message
  properties from the original message. This resulted in a number
  of properties being set to their defaults, including
  JMSMessageID being set to null.
  

Problem conclusion

• A deserialised JMS message now contains all of the properties
  from the original serialised message.
