Error description

• The fteCleanAgent command fails for Connect:Direct Bridge Agents
  when the -p parameter is used to specify a non-default set of
  configuration options. The error message BFGAP0014E is returned
  to the user.
  
  For example:
  
  $ ./fteCleanAgent -p CONFIG_OPTIONS_B CD_BRIDGE_AGENT

  BFGAP0014E: The configuration options directory
  '/var/mqm/mqft/config/CONFIG_OPTIONS_A' does not exist, or does
  not contain a required properties file.
  
  where:
  - CONFIG_OPTIONS_B is the user specified name for the
  non-default configuration options to use.
  - CD_BRIDGE_AGENT is the name of the Connect:Direct Bridge Agent
  that the fteCleanAgent command is to operate on.
  - CONFIG_OPTIONS_A is the name of the default configuration
  options.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  USERS AFFECTED:
  This issue affects users of WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer
  who are running the fteCleanAgent command with the -p
  parameter to clean the queues used by a Connect:Direct bridge
  agent that is not located under the default configuration.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  MultiPlatform

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  Although the -p parameter was specified when running the
  fteCleanAgent command, the default configuration options, as
  specified in the WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer
  wmqfte.properties file, were being used instead. This can result
  in the following:
  
   1) the fteCleanAgent command was run against an incorrect
  temporary directory
  
   2) the fteCleanAgent command reported an error message such as:
  
   BFGAP0014E: The configuration options directory
  '/var/mqm/mqft/config/CONFIG_OPTIONS_A' does not exist, or
  does not contain a required properties file.

   BFGAP0018E: An internal error has occurred. Unable to
  complete the command because the agent directory
  '/var/mqm/mqft/config/CONFIG_OPTIONS_A/agents/CD_BRIDGE_AGENT'
  does not exist.
  
   where "CONFIG_OPTIONS_A" is the name of the default
  configuration options and "CD_BRIDGE_AGENT" was the name of
  the Connect:Direct bridge agent to run the fteCleanAgent command
  against.
  
  
  The problem occurred when the fteCleanAgent command attempted to
  query the location of the Connect:Direct temporary directory.
  This is the directory used by a Connect:Direct bridge agent to
  temporarily store files before they are transferred onto the
  destination Connect:Direct node. The user-specified name for the
  non-default set of configuration options to use was not being
  passed correctly to the mechanism responsible for querying the
  Connect:Direct temporary directory. As such, the fteCleanAgent
  command attempted to use the default set of configuration
  options. This behaviour was incorrect.
  

Problem conclusion

• The WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer Connect:Direct bridge
  agent has been updated so that the name of the non-default
  configuration options, specified using the -p parameter on the
  fteCleanAgent command, is used to query the temporary directory
  for a Connect:Direct bridge agent.
